  AEF MOCK INTERVIEW PROGRAM

10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P.

The mock interview program helps law students to prepare and practice for employment interviews in one-on-one mock interviews with practicing attorneys.  Each mock interview is 30 minutes long.  Resume reviews will be provided on a walk-in basis and students may sign up for a time on the day of the mock interview.  Students should bring at least 5 copies of their resume.  Registration is free and open to all law students in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.  Interview attire is encouraged.  Students should arrive at 9:30 a.m. Free lunch will be provided.

REGISTRATION FORMS ARE DUE BY WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2006.  Registration forms are available at participating Career Services Offices and at the link below.

I. Panel Discussion -                                                            10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  

    “What Makes a Successful Interview”

            Discussion on what employers are looking for in evaluating potential employees. 

 

Panel and Moderator to be announced.

 

II.  Lunch (courtesy of Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P.)                  11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

 

III. Mock Interviews and Resume Reviews                          12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

-Located at the corner of 13th and F St., N.W. Metered parking available on the street

-Located at Metro Center off the red/orange/blue Metro lines, near the F and 12th Street exit
